Details for Carl’s funeral from his niece Alison

My uncle… Charles McGregor – known as Carl – has sadly passed away last week.

He was a staunch BB man and I just wondered if it was possible for you to pass on the news to anyone who may wish to come to his funeral?

It is at Jonathon Harvey, Anniesland Road, on Thursday 25th August at 11.15am.

Thereafter at Craigton Crematorium, Cardonald. at 12.30

He never missed a 214 reunion!

We heard a lot about Lachlan May over the years, and Bill MacDonald.

Sorry to intimate that Carl McGregor passed away on Sunday 14th August 2016.

Carl who lived in Scotstounhill, was a great attender of the reunions and younger brother of Kerr.  He lost his wife about three years ago and I think was struggling health wise since.

Carl was a couple of years younger than my father so would be in his mid to late eighties. 

One of his pals at the 214 was Jimmy Courtney.

I will announce funeral details once known.
