Gordon MacIntyre informs me that Audrey Black has passed away after a short hospital stay.

Some of you may remember her as “the lady that played the piano for the Lifeboys”.

Funeral arrangements are:-

Friday 29th August  10.00am at Dalnottar, Clydebank.

I vaguely remember her, but I’m sure many of you have fond memories of her.

I’m sure you all will join me in sending our 214 regards to family members.

MacIver Household Photos

With great thanks to Mrs Rena Macnaughton we now have in our possession all Donnie’s 214 slides, cine, video and photos.

She has kindly passed these on to the Association for our use.

As you all know Donnie was a great one for taking photos and we now have many photos which have not been seen outwith the MacIver home.

They will start to feed into the site as and when they have been scanned and made good for publication.

As you can imagine going through this is no small task and has been a bit of a job thus far.

When the photos appear please have a look and if you can provide any useful detail, please email me quoting the picture number shown in (brackets) and your info.

I will announce when each batch of photos go live!
